Why so cheap?
We build on a fast, simple setup we reuse for every site, and AI does the slow parts (first drafts, resizing photos, checks). You pay for decisions and care, not for hours of fiddling.
What does the $20 start fee get me?
The questionnaire, a short call if you want one, and a place in the build queue. It comes off the final price, and is not refunded if you change your mind. If you don't like the first draft, you can stop there and pay nothing more.
When do I pay the rest?
When the site is ready and you accept it, before we connect your domain and hand it over. Once accepted, there are no change-of-mind refunds, but anything wrong with our work that turns up in the first 90 days after launch is fixed free. Special projects pay 30% after the quote, the rest at handover.
What is not included?
The domain (about $20–40 a year, paid by you to the registrar), Google ad spend (paid by you to Google) and photo shoots. A logo, photo touch-up and the writing are not in the packages either, but you can add them: AI logo, AI photo touch-up and Words written for you. Everything else is in the package or the plan you pick.
Who provides the text and photos?
You do. Everything that goes on the site comes from you through the questionnaire: text, photos, logo, prices and details. That is how we can build it so fast. Short on words? Add Words written for you and we write the text after a 20-minute chat.
Can I skip the questionnaire and just send you my notes?
Yes. Write it your way in the last box of the questionnaire, or send it to [contact email] or from your portal; both land in the same conversation. But the more precise you are, the closer the first version gets. If we only have a rough idea, the first draft is partly our guess, and your included reviews may run out before the site feels right. Twenty minutes on the questionnaire usually saves you a review or two.
I don’t have a logo or good photos. Is that a problem?
Not for getting started. Without a logo we set your business name in a clean typeface that suits the site, or add an AI logo: three ideas made with AI and finished by hand. Phone photos work well, and AI photo touch-up makes them brighter, straighter and cleaner. Real photos of your work and your team sell better than stock. Photo shoots are not part of our packages.
I already have a website. Can you replace it?
Yes. We build the new one, and at launch point your existing domain at it, so the address stays the same. Send us the text and photos you want to keep; we don’t copy content we haven’t been given.
How many pages do I get?
Starter: up to 3 pages, for example Home, Services and Contact. Business: up to 10. Need more, a shop or a catalogue? That is a Special site, quoted after your brief.
How many versions do I get?
Starter: 3 versions, a first draft and 2 reviews. Business: 5 versions, a first draft and 4 reviews. A review can include any number of changes, as long as they are sent together in one list.
How long does it really take?
The first version arrives within 5 working days on Starter, or 3 on Business (it goes to the front of the queue), counted from the moment we have your complete questionnaire and all materials. Then it is up to your reviews. Most of the waiting is usually for materials, so having your photos and text ready is the fastest way to launch.
What if I need more reviews?
On Starter, upgrade to Business: you pay the difference ($200) and get 2 more reviews, plus everything else in Business (more pages, your own admin). You never have to accept a version you are not happy with. Beyond the 4 reviews in Business, we agree the next step with you first: a fixed quote, or carrying on after launch with normal requests.
Do I need to buy a domain?
Yes, in your own name, so it is always yours. It costs about $20–40 a year. We send a step-by-step guide and can do it with you on a short call.
Do I need a plan?
No. The site is yours after launch. Without a plan, it runs on free hosting (Cloudflare Pages) in your own Cloudflare account, the same one your domain is in, and you pay per request when you need us.
What is a request credit?
The unit our plans count in. An amendment costs 1 credit; a standard feature 3 (one new page or section, or one standard embed like a booking button or map, done in one round). Bigger features are quoted in credits first and nothing starts until you OK it. On a plan, incidents cost nothing. Each month’s credits last that month and 3 more, and your portal shows how many you have and when the next ones arrive.
What counts as an incident?
Something we built, or our hosting, that worked and stopped working: the site is down, the form stopped sending, a page broke. Changes you or someone else made, other companies’ services (Google, your email, your domain registrar) and new features are not incidents; we help with those as amendments or features, quoted first. Incidents are free on a plan, and for everyone in the first 90 days after launch. Our monitoring alerts are handled the same way, in business hours.
What if I need more than my plan covers?
Extra requests are charged at the pay-per-request price, and we tell you before doing anything chargeable.
Can I change the site myself after launch?
On Business, yes: you get your own admin to change texts, photos, prices and hours whenever you like, at no cost. On Starter, send us a request: an amendment is $89, or included in your plan’s credits.
How do I keep my portal safe?
Your private link signs you in, so keep it to yourself. Turn on two-step sign-in in your portal: then signing in also needs a code from an app on your phone, so the link alone is not enough.
Will I be on the first page of Google?
Nobody can honestly promise that. Every site gets the basics right (titles, a sitemap, your Google Business Profile), which is what most local searches use. If you want to be seen sooner, Google Ads can show you in the paid results above them while the rest catches up; where your ads appear depends on Google’s auction and your budget.
Do you use AI to build the sites?
Yes, to work faster: coding, deployment, resizing photos and testing. A person designs every site, reviews the code and checks it before you see it. That is a big part of how we keep prices low. For AI services that work on your own content (logos, photos, texts, the AI front desk), you tick to agree before we start.
Who is responsible for what is on the site?
You are, for the words, photos, prices and claims you send or approve, and for anything you change after launch. We are responsible for our work: the build and keeping it running. Details are in the terms.
What if Weble disappears?
You are not locked in. The domain is in your name, and the code and content are yours. Without a plan, the site already runs in your own Cloudflare account. On a plan it is hosted by us, and you can download it from your portal any time: a zip of the site’s pages, code and photos that works on any host (server features like the Business admin need a compatible host or our paid move). If we ever stop trading, we tell you in advance where we can, stop billing, and keep the download open until then.
Can I leave?
Any time, from your portal. The domain is already yours. You download your site as a simple zip file (the ready-to-upload site, the source code and your photos), free, and put it on free Cloudflare hosting yourself with our step-by-step guide in about 15 minutes. Prefer us to do it? We move it for you from $99 to Cloudflare, quoted for other hosts; free if your site is too big to upload yourself. No exit fees. One note: the Business admin needs hosting that can run a small server function; a site you upload yourself works, but without the admin. Keeping the admin working is part of our move. Read the guide.
